Life has so many roundabouts, traffic lights, left turns, right turns and U-turns. But regardless of the directions you take, you will always end up at your desired destination with a focused mind.
Some take the longest route. Some use the short-cuts. For me, I went through a lot of roadblocks and I am still making my way around.
Roadblocks can be unexpected events. Example, you fell pregnant. You got into an accident. You got married. You’re going through financial, health or social struggles. You’re at a point in your life where you’ve put your road trip on hold to settle some pressing issues.
Every single day, someone’s stuck in a roadblock.
For the last 4 days, I was struggling to go to work because both my sons, were crying their hearts out for me to stay back. A roadblock confronted me. I kept asking myself, should I go? Should I stay? Maybe work half-day? But then, just then, I tell myself, “I have to move on”. So I get up, pack my bag, dress up and turn up at work. This is a sacrifice I have to make. Hence, if you’re at a roadblock, be quick, think smart and move. Don’t sit in that roadblock forever. Get out of that roadblock as fast as you can because there are other obstacles you will pass along the way like roadblocks, traffic lights, U-turns, etc. And keep looking out for other roadblocks too.
